Meet John Lovett
John is the founder of Prompt Consulting.
John has a natural passion for coaching and facilitation. He has worked with clients in a diverse range of industries and services, in both the public and private sectors.
He is a skilled communicator, who builds trust with his clients - whether that is in a one-to-one setting or in the training room.
He understands our quest to find our place in life.
John has had a successful I.T. career working both in Ireland and Germany. He then re-entered full-time education to study acting, after which he became a professional actor, working in Ireland, Britain and the United States in both theatre and television. The rehearsal room became an interesting space to observe behaviours, leadership, communication and politics: John would say that where you have more than one person, you have politics. And politics is not a bad thing, if managed/negotiated authentically.
This led to his next career change - supporting Learning and Development within organisations and eventually obtaining a Diploma in Executive Coaching.
John now works as a Coach and as a Learning and Development Consultant, delivering both in-house and tailor-made programmes.
As a Coach, John specialises in leadership coaching and in interpersonal communication coaching, working with clients both individually, and in partnership with their organisations. In particular, he coaches individuals who identify, or who have been identified by their firm, as ‘high potentials’: and he works with these individuals to enable them to step up to the next level. John also coaches clients who feel ‘stuck’ in their careers, identifying ways in which to move forward.
His skills, together with a strong business background, place him in a truly unique position to have very practical insights into the behavioural challenges encountered in the modern work environment.
John has an international client base in Europe, Britain and Asia.
He believes passionately that we all can operate at our maximum capability and maintain a work/life balance - while also inspiring others and leading others to be at their most effective.
John is an ICF-accredited coach to PCC level.
